's-Hertogenbosch - Final!

Kirsten Flipkens looks to capture her second WTA title.
Simona Halep and Kirsten Flipkens will compete for this year's TOPSHELF Open title. Other than a lost 2-6 set to Annika Beck in the first round, Halep has dropped just 14 games in her eight other sets! Flipkens can argue that she too only dropped one set, and looked quite good (especially on serve) against Garbine Muguruza in the semifinals. But, Halep has been in absolutely amazing form the past couple weeks. She reached the semifinals of a Premier 5 event in Rome, before losing to clay court specialist Carla Suarez Navarro at the French Open. Then Halep attained her first WTA title at Nürnberg on clay last week, and is now into her 5th WTA final in 's-Hertogenbosch. Flipkens has too had a breakthrough season, reaching the top 20 for the first time last week. Her creative game suits well on the grass, as does Halep's big power game. Will Halep be able to hit past Flipkens, or will Flipkens craft her way to a second WTA title?

Prediction: Halep in 2 sets
